From sales and marketing to high-volume portraiture and workflow techniques, this entry-level program will help the "newbie" school photographer get started off right.
Part one of the program will cover the basics of prospecting for business, sales techniques and marketing strategies to help you beat the "national" competitors and book local schools. You'll discover popular portrait packages and pricing secrets, as well as learn what services schools expect, how to handle requests for "rebates" or "commissions" and much more.
The second part of the program will show you how to photograph up to 90 students per hour- per camera- properly identified, with attention to detail, posing, lighting and expression. Learn how to schedule the classrooms, manage the logistics, personnel and resources to provide an exceptional school photography experience for Students, Faculty and Administration.
In the third part of the program you'll learn the basics of automating the workflow process -- even on a budget. Learn about on-site image capture software with barcode and database capability, plus demos of both tethered and un-tethered workflows. We'll also share information on vendors and resources to help you be successful.
