Gail became an owner of Grand Photography, LLC in 2005 after working for the company since 2002 when it was under the ownership of Andy Gould of GPS Risers. Andy mentored Gail in the beginning of her professional photography career while she attended numerous conferences to gain further knowledge of the industry. Other mentors include Jeff Gump, Gary Kranz, Chris Wunder and Dave Stock.
Prior to Grand Photography, Gail worked for 12 years as a UNIX System Administrator at Motorola and Charles Schwab after serving 6 years in the Communications Squadron in the U.S. Air Force.
Gail quickly learned the high volume industry and gained much respect in her community. She strives on hard work, dedication, customer service, and treating her employees right so that they are good enough to leave but chose to stay and does not take them for granted. Gail has an in-house lab to enable her to monitor quality control by doing her own printing and packaging. She outsources specialty items and orders supplies from the vendors she partners with such as Richmond Pro Lab, School Photo Marketing, Make-A-Ball and School Annual Publishing.
Gail couldn’t be successful without the support of her family including her husband Steve of 29 years, who just became Chief of Police for Prescott Valley, AZ, and her three adult children, Trevar, Travis and Taylor. All three children have worked for her company by beginning with assisting and progressing to photographing high volume schools and sports alongside her before taking off on their own career paths.
