Larry Peters is humbly known as the “Father of Modern Senior Photography”
He developed “state of the art” photography for seniors using props and modeling style
photo shoots, which had never happened before in the early 70’s.
He developed a solid sales procedure which has given the studios great sales throughout the
years and has been used by hundreds of others to increase their sales.
He also introduced outdoor photography in 1974, when it was not considered a part of a
senior session .
Underwater photography for seniors is another idea developed in 2005 and Peters has
taught hundreds of others his techniques.
He patented the “eyelighter” which has revolutionized the photography
business with its unique “eye lighting” results, now sold world wide. Peters has spoken to
photographers in almost every state plus Europe. This has made him a household name in the
The business is comprised of two studios in Central Ohio which photographs Families,
Children, business and of course, Seniors, while adding Underclass and In-studio sports as
Larry holds a Masters Degree in Education, Bachelor Degree in Business in addition to a
Master of Photography, Master of Electronic Imaging and Photographic Craftsman from the
Professional Photographers of America.
He enjoys his family, playing tuba in local bands and traveling.
