Nancy grew up around a camera with a brother as an avid photographer. At age 17 she began working for a photography studio based in Oshawa Ontario Canada.
Fast forward 25 years; she is a wife, mother of two and working full time as a police officer. Nancy renewed her love of photography when the department trained her in the technical aspect of crime scene examination. After 11 weeks of intensive photo training, and ready to record the worst of society, she decided to take a lighter approach and open a photo studio on the side, to photograph children and families. The studio added creative balance to her life and offered a business endeavor for her post retirement years.
As an avid dance mom as well, she began offering a style of photography to local dance studios which they were accustomed to. Using a combination of boutique and volume photo techniques, clients were offered creative shots, including action poses, and a variety of product choices via online sales.
Nancy calls her system ‘Boutique Volume’ and is happy to teach professional photographers about the system and how it can be used to increase average sales in any artistic sport while building relationships with many clients at once.
